How to Deposit from Starknet L2 (Argent or Braavos)

  • You can deposit from your Starknet L2 wallets Argent and Braavos using Top Up function in the ZKX Account (wallet).

  • Click Top Up and you will see the option to select from the available Starknet L2 wallets.

  • Select "Starknet" and choose a wallet to proceed with deposits.

  • Tokens: Select the token (ETH, USDC, ZKX) to deposit to your ZKX Account and click Continue. We recommend transferring at least 10 USDC for trading.

  • Click Continue and wait for the transfer to finish.

🚨 L2 Deposits and zUSDC (ZKX-USDC)

  • The USDC bridged into the ZKX account (wallet) from L1 or L2 wallets is converted to zUSDC.

  • zUSDC has a different contract address from Starknet native USDC (transferred via Starkgate.) Therefore, the user might find it as a different asset in their wallet, retaining the same value as USDC.

  • If the user doesn’t find zUSDC in their L2 wallet (like Braavos or Argent), it can be added manually using zUSDC contract address: 0x028757d11c97078dd182023b1cc7b9e7659716c631adf94d24f1fa7dc5943072 Add this to your wallet, and you should be able to see your balance.

  • Starkgate USDC will be supported for trading soon. The team is working on it.

How to Deposit from Ethereum L1

  • You can deposit USDC from your Ethereum L1 wallets using the "Top Up" button available in the ZKX Account (wallet).

  • Click the "Deposit" button and then you will see the option to deposit from Ethereum.

  • Select "Ethereum" and choose a wallet of your choice to proceed with deposits in USDC.

  • Tokens: Select tokens (USDC or ETH) to deposit to your ZKX Account and click on continue. We recommend transferring at least 10 USDC for trading.

  • ZKX facilitates the transfer of USDC from Ethereum L1 wallets using its custom-built bridge Starkway. It happens securely under the hood using a few clicks from your ZKX account (wallet). For more information, refer to the Starkway-Native bridge section in the documentation.

  • When you deposit USDC from Ethereum, some of it gets swapped to ether to pay the gas fees of the Ethereum network. The swap happens within the Starkway bridge automatically and the user doesn't need to take any action (like manual swap etc.) The gas fee is charged (as it exists) during the transfer of payment.
